Nuix joins McAfee® Security Innovation Alliance Program

Nuix, a technology company that enables people to make fact-based decisions from unstructured data, has joined the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance program. Nuix and McAfee are now working to integrate capabilities of the Nuix Engine with McAfee Enterprise Security Manager.

McAfee Enterprise Security Manager differentiates serious security incidents from benign anomalies by correlating real-time activity across systems, networks, databases and applications with threat data, reputation feeds and software vulnerabilities. The integration will allow McAfee Enterprise Security Manager to use the Nuix Engine’s unmatched unstructured data indexing capabilities to provide deep and rapid insights into a cybersecurity incident of consequence.

When McAfee Enterprise Security Manager generates an alert, Nuix scans and indexes relevant data on the identified endpoints, then returns this data to McAfee Enterprise Security Manager for automated response or manual review.

“A key goal behind the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance program is to accelerate the development of interoperable security products and simplify the deployment of these integrated products in complex customer environments,” said Ed Barry, vice president, Global Technology Alliances at McAfee, part of Intel Security. “We’re thrilled to work with Nuix on new ways to provide rich and rapid context into security incidents.”

“We’re extremely excited to partner with McAfee to provide IT users with an integrated solution that provides rich, timely and targeted information about potential security incidents,” said Eddie Sheehy, CEO of Nuix.
