Cordys launches Cordys Cloud™ and enhances Platform as a Service offering

Company enables enterprise cloud advantage and service provider differentiation with major update to PaaS, provisioning and mobility offering.

Cordys has announced the launch of the latest version of its Platform as a Service offering - Cordys Cloud. The launch of the latest version of Cordys Cloud combines the general availability of the Cordys Business Operations Platform and enterprise class service level offerings in the cloud.

Running on Amazon Web Services Infrastructure, Cordys Cloud offers a complete middleware PaaS in the public cloud. The platform gives organizations a cloud platform for integration, Business Process Management, composite application development and unified cloud provisioning. This enables enterprises, service providers and ISVs to bridge and combine cloud and on-premise systems, supporting hybrid cloud models.
The latest release of the Cordys Cloud includes enhanced multi-tenancy capability, improved, unified cloud provisioning of IaaS and SaaS together with existing on-premise systems. Also included is improved connectivity with reliable messaging and REST and a full mobile application development kit for enterprise mobility combined with PaaS. This combination of capabilities is being used by enterprises to take their business to the cloud, service providers to differentiate their cloud offerings and ISVs to build next generation applications.

The Cordys Cloud includes the software, hardware, support, administration, and backup offered "as a Service" with a fully certified Cloud Operations team. The service offers high availability, security, full application lifecycle management and multiple disaster recovery options.

"We're pleased to announce the latest release of Cordys Cloud and our PaaS offering to enterprises, service providers and ISVs" said Art Lando, CEO of Cordys. "The unique ability to offer PaaS capability ourselves with Cordys Cloud and also allow service providers to offer and operate their own PaaS capability, is driving the Cordys platform into exciting, high growth markets. With the latest enhancements to the Cordys platform we're delivering on our strategy of being ‘The’ Enterprise Cloud Platform". The announcement of the Cordys Cloud follows the 2013 Forrester BPM Suites Wave report that highlighted Cordys’ BPM and PaaS credentials.
