AHEAD expands European presence with acquisition, leadership appointment, and new foundry facility near London

AHEAD has announced three initiatives to support its international expansion in Europe.

The company has acquired Prolimax, a Netherlands-based technology services partner with EU regulatory capabilities and established supplier relationships. The acquisition is intended to support AHEAD’s European operations and maintain consistent service delivery across markets.

AHEAD has also appointed Paul Allen as Executive Vice President of Sales EMEA. With over 20 years of industry experience, he will lead the company’s regional growth strategy, focusing on expanding its presence across the EMEA region and maintaining consistent client engagement across borders.

In addition, AHEAD Foundry, a new facility near London, will support the build, configuration, and testing of AI, high-performance computing, and edge infrastructure. It will operate alongside AHEAD’s Hatch platform, which provides IT lifecycle management and asset visibility across geographies.

The Foundry is intended to support more efficient infrastructure management across multiple regions and reduce complexity in global IT operations.

These initiatives form part of AHEAD’s broader international strategy, which focuses on leveraging existing capabilities and partnerships to support growth in cloud and AI infrastructure demand.

The integration of Prolimax is expected to strengthen AHEAD’s position in the EU by supporting operational capability and reducing the time required for market entry.

Overall, these developments expand AHEAD’s presence in the European market and support its delivery of enterprise infrastructure and AI-related services.
