Stellanor, a UK and Nordic urban datacenter company backed by DWS, has appointed Howard Pheby as Chief Commercial Officer to support its ongoing expansion in the UK.
Pheby brings more than 30 years of experience in the data centre industry across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, with expertise in hyperscale, wholesale, and retail colocation markets.
Michael Tobin, Chair of Stellanor’s Board, noted that Pheby’s appointment aligns with the company’s plan to expand its facilities from two to ten and strengthen its commercial operations alongside its urban infrastructure capabilities.
Pheby joins Stellanor from Pure Data Centres Group, where he was Business Development Director for the UK, Europe, and Middle East. He has also held senior commercial roles at Telehouse Europe, Rack Centre, and COLT Telecom.
Commenting on his new role, Pheby highlighted the company’s growth over six months and said he aims to support the integration of its infrastructure expansion with commercial operations.
Howard Pheby, Chief Commercial Officer of Stellanor, said: "This Stellanor team has extensive experience in building, integrating, and scaling datacenter platforms. I'm here to help turn that infrastructure momentum into commercial success."
Stellanor’s expansion began with two facilities acquired from Colt Technology Services in September 2025, followed by eight additional UK datacenters from Redcentric. The company now operates ten facilities with a combined grid capacity of 36 MVA.
Pheby will lead sales, business development, and customer success across Stellanor’s UK platform. Stellanor’s approach focuses on providing urban colocation to enterprises, supporting hybrid cloud strategies and AI infrastructure requirements.
