Barbara Cadigan named SVP of People at Talend

Talend has appointed Barbara Cadigan as Senior Vice President of People. Cadigan will be responsible for talent acquisition and people operations globally, reporting to Mike Tuchen, CEO.

Recently surpassing 500 employees, Talend is experiencing tremendous growth and plans to further increase its global workforce with an additional 200 hires in 2016 to keep pace.
Cadigan will help the company source and attract talent, particularly highly sought-after professionals with big data and open source expertise. She will also help drive Talend’s continued global expansion, building on the company’s recent growth into Canada, Australia and Singapore – where it recently announced new direct sales capabilities – and establish its presence this year in additional regions in Europe and Southeast Asia.
Cadigan brings over 20 years of Human Resource experience to the position, including expertise working with large, diverse, international teams through periods of high growth and large-scale change. During the last 10 years she held a series of expanding roles at Electronic Arts, most recently serving as Vice President of Human Resources for EA Studios, leading the talent strategy for a 3,000 person organisation across 14 locations globally.  Prior to Electronic Arts, Cadigan was HR Manager at Advanced Micro Devices.
“Hiring and retaining the right talent is integral to a company’s success at all stages, and even more so for an organisation growing as quickly as Talend,” said Tuchen. “Barbara has a proven track record of building cultures that create opportunities to hire and retain top talent. We are delighted to have her on board.”
