Actifio brings copy data virtualisation to Oracle Cloud Marketplace

Enterprise customers can now manage, access and protect data faster within Oracle Cloud and across hybrid cloud.

Actifio, the copy data virtualisation company and a Platinum-level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), has revealed that its copy data virtualisation platform is now available in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace. Actifio enables hybrid cloud for the enterprise, letting users increase the mobility of data between cloud and on premises infrastructure, creating a more seamless integration of the Oracle Cloud with existing data centres. Oracle Cloud customers can now leverage the Actifio platform to provide a complete range of business resiliency and agility use cases - from backup, disaster recovery, and LTDR to virtual database provisioning in support of test data management.

The Oracle Cloud Marketplace is a one-stop shop for Oracle customers seeking trusted business applications and service providers offering unique business solutions, including ones that extend Oracle Cloud Applications. Oracle Cloud delivers the industry’s broadest suite of enterprise-grade public cloud services, including data as a service (DaaS), software as a service (SaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and infrastructure as a service (IaaS).

“Actifio frees enterprise applications from infrastructure,” said Ash Ashutosh, Actifio Founder and CEO. “From the beginning we’ve enabled Oracle customers to manage, access, and protect their applications faster and more efficiently. Now, as more and more of those customers need those same capabilities to enable a hybrid cloud environment, Actifio is making it easier than ever to extend an existing data centre into the Oracle Cloud.”

By leveraging Oracle Cloud, System Integrators (SIs) can now offer advanced services like BaaS, DRaaS, and Test Data Management services using Actifio platform. The speed, agility, and convenience that Actifio platform integration in Oracle Cloud brings for SIs and enterprise customers is unparalleled.

The Oracle Cloud Marketplace not only offers an intuitive user interface to browse and search for available applications and services but also provides user ratings and reviews to help customers determine the best business solutions for their organisation. With its new automated application installation features, customers can easily deploy provider business applications from a centralised cloud interface.
