NAKIVO partners with ICOS for Italian market expansion

NAKIVO teams up with ICOS to distribute its data protection solutions across Italy, aiming to tap into the region's dynamic SMB and mid-market segments.

NAKIVO, a US-based provider of backup and disaster recovery solutions, has entered into a partnership with ICOS, a value-added distributor headquartered in Bolzano, Italy. Through this collaboration, ICOS will distribute NAKIVO's data protection solutions to customers including IT resellers, system integrators, and managed service providers throughout Italy.

ICOS has 30 years of experience in data protection, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity. The company operates offices in Bolzano, Ferrara, Verona, and Milan, supporting customers across the Italian market.

The Italian IT market is active, particularly within the SMB and mid-market segments. NAKIVO's solutions are designed to address the requirements of these organisations. Its Backup & Replication product enables organisations to back up and recover data from a range of sources, including physical servers, virtual machines, cloud services, and SaaS platforms.

NAKIVO reports that it serves more than 16,000 customers across 191 countries, including organisations such as Honda, Siemens, and Coca-Cola. The company states that its software has received industry recognition and has been included in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Backup and Recovery Software Solutions.

Through the partnership, ICOS and NAKIVO intend to provide Italian businesses with data protection solutions aimed at supporting a range of operational and security requirements.
