Cohesity has announced its participation in Anthropic’s Project Glasswing. The initiative is focused on improving software security in the AI era. Through its involvement, Cohesity gains access to Claude Mythos Preview, which the company will use as part of its security efforts.

This collaboration enables Cohesity to use the model to identify, validate and address potential vulnerabilities across its platform and products. The company states that this supports its data resilience objectives for customers, including more than 70% of the Fortune Global 500 and government organisations.

Project Glasswing provides software infrastructure developers and operators with access to Claude Mythos Preview. For Cohesity, participation aligns with its existing security-focused approach and its work in helping organisations strengthen cyber resilience.

By evaluating its systems with Mythos Preview, Cohesity aims to reduce the time between the discovery and remediation of vulnerabilities. As AI can accelerate both vulnerability detection and the development of potential exploits, timely remediation remains an important aspect of security operations.

The project also includes information sharing among participating organisations. Findings from Project Glasswing partners are shared within the community, allowing participants and the broader security ecosystem to benefit from insights and research generated through the initiative.
