As global demand for data continues to grow, there is increasing focus on improving the efficiency and environmental impact of cooling systems. The transition to lower-GWP (Global Warming Potential) alternatives is becoming more prominent within the data centre industry.
A-Gas will be present at Data Center Nation in Milan as a Gold Sponsor on 27th May. The company plans to outline how it works with industry stakeholders in the adoption of lower-GWP refrigerants. Its participation reflects ongoing industry efforts to address rising demand alongside environmental considerations.
Data Center Nation is a recurring event within Europe’s data centre sector, bringing together hyperscalers, investors, enterprise end users, and infrastructure suppliers. The event provides a platform for discussions on developments in digital infrastructure, including cooling systems and sustainability.
At the event, A-Gas will host a booth presenting its technologies. The company will also take part in a Tech Stage panel titled "Cooling in Transition: HFCs, Low-GWP Refrigerants & the Data Centre Challenge," focusing on how organisations are addressing the balance between operational performance and environmental factors.
Visitors to the A-Gas stand will be able to learn more about its work in refrigerant recovery, reclamation, and repurposing, which are approaches used within the industry to manage the environmental impact of cooling systems.
