20i expands global footprint with new Singapore data centre

20i unveils a new data centre in Singapore, enhancing cloud hosting services across the Asia-Pacific region.

20i, a managed hosting service provider, has launched its newest data centre located in Singapore. This expansion represents a step in the company's international growth strategy, allowing customers from the Asia-Pacific region to deploy autoscaling cloud hosting services closer to their users.

The demand for high-performance digital infrastructure in the region has been increasing, and 20i's expansion aims to provide a local gateway to its autoscaling technology. Based within a Tier 3 Equinix facility, this secure and network-dense data centre aims to reduce latency and improve performance for 20i's complete range of services. These services include Reseller Hosting, Managed WordPress Hosting, and Cloud Servers, specifically for users in countries such as India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, as well as Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, and Australia.

Unlike traditional single-server hosting methods, 20i's platform is designed to dynamically allocate resources in real time according to demand, allowing optimal performance even during peak traffic periods. With the absence of LVE limits or bottlenecks, users can hope for consistently fast and responsive services.

Tasks are distributed across a redundant infrastructure, supported by intelligent autoscaling and load balancing capabilities. Resources like PHP workers and memory are provisioned automatically when needed, eradicating single points of failure. The system's high-capacity routing and smart traffic management aim for low latency and fault tolerance, even under high loads.

True to 20i’s commitment to sustainability, the Singapore data centre operates entirely on renewable energy. It adheres to stringent compliance and security standards, including ISO 27001 certification, fortified access controls, and continuous environmental monitoring.

This new centre offers 20i's existing and prospective customers the opportunity to host their services nearer to their target audience, enhancing Time to First Byte (TTFB) and reducing bounce rates, thereby increasing user engagement across their websites and ecommerce platforms.
