nLighten has announced the acquisition of a data centre in Émerainville, Paris. This addition comes from oXya, managed services and cloud solutions provider, particularly in applications such as SAP. The move aims to strengthen nLighten’s foothold in one of Europe’s critical digital hubs, expanding their regional infrastructure offerings.
The acquisition places nLighten in a stronger position in Paris, with the newly acquired Émerainville facility becoming their eighth site in France. This extends nLighten’s portfolio to over 30 data centres across seven markets. Located in the eastern data centre cluster of Paris, the facility is positioned approximately one kilometre from nLighten’s PAR1 site. This aims to ensure continuity and improve regional accessibility, serving existing anchor customer oXya under a longstanding agreement.
Additional capacity will be extended to enterprise clients via channel partners, aligning with nLighten’s retail strategy. Designed for high-density, AI-ready configurations, this centre seeks to provide scalable infrastructure positioned to evolve with varying customer needs. nLighten strives to deliver sustainable, interconnected solutions, ensuring site connectivity tailored for enterprises.
Harro Beusker, CEO and Co-Founder of nLighten, expressed enthusiasm over the acquisition, emphasising its impact on expanding their French presence. He highlighted Paris as a hub for connectivity, offering increased operational capacity to their enterprise clientele. With proximity and dual-site deployment possibilities, this acquisition helps demonstrate their ambition to build smart, environmental infrastructure that aids in the digital revolution in Europe.
Anwar Saliba, Managing Director, voiced the alignment of this acquisition with nLighten's vision of a distributed digital framework across France. With increased capacity through interconnected Paris sites, customers gain resilient architectures, ensuring enhanced data security and performance.
Christophe Bronner, Group CFO of oXya, shared satisfaction in this transition, highlighting the focus on core managed cloud services. He believes nLighten's commitment to sustainable operations will benefit both their organisation and their clientele.
