NFU Mutual, a UK rural insurer, is set to migrate its on-premises systems to the Guidewire Cloud Platform, continuing its 15-year partnership with Guidewire.
NFU Mutual serves 900,000 member-owners with a range of insurance products, including home, motor, and business coverage. Its network of 300 agencies has previously used Guidewire solutions to support process efficiency, premium collection, and payment administration.
The migration makes NFU Mutual one of the latest insurers to adopt the Guidewire Cloud Platform, which provides a scalable and secure cloud-based delivery model for insurance operations.
In addition, NFU Mutual is investing in its data management and digital capabilities. The Guidewire Data Platform will support capturing and recording critical data, while the Jutro Digital Platform will enable faster product and feature updates across digital channels.
Nick Turner, Group CEO of NFU Mutual, said the move reflects the company’s approach to customer service and its plans for growth in commercial lines and high-net-worth offerings, while supporting the stability of its agency network.
Will McAllister, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of EMEA at Guidewire, highlighted the long-term nature of the partnership and noted the potential for further developments between the two organisations.
