Getting a deeper view of insurance claims

Pneuron’s Distributed Platform is giving US-based specialty insurance business, ProSight, a deeper and clear view of all the data that might be relevant to an insurance claim

Pneuron Corporation has helped ProSight Specialty Insurance to get a better handle on all the data that might be relevant to a claim by using Pneuron’s Distributed Platform.

The platform provides enhanced data agility through the ability to break down and distribute any analytics, predictive models, or math libraries (customer or third party) to where data is located, enabling analysis for immediate value without the need for data modelling, integration, or federation costs, by using distributed data orchestration across disparate databases, applications, files, or any other target source.

Implemented within 90 days of contract execution, ProSight has been able to rapidly deploy Pneuron across multiple internal and external systems, applying sophisticated integrated analytics to create a single view of claim relationships for the enterprise.

This new distributed approach to data analysis, processing and results dissemination allows ProSight’s customer service team to have all client history and claims data at their fingertips as part of their specialised approach to customer service.

“ProSight has reinvented the way insurance is delivered to the niches we serve on a global basis. Pneuron’s unique distributed analytics approach leverages our existing data and technology, provides a platform for iterative product design, and aligns with our culture of speed to value and continuous innovation”

“ProSight has reinvented the way insurance is delivered to the niches we serve on a global basis,” said Mark Popolano, Chief Information Officer, ProSight Specialty Insurance. “Pneuron’s distributed analytics approach leverages our existing data and technology, provides a platform for iterative product design, and aligns with our culture of speed to value and continuous innovation.”

The intuitive user interface and ease of deployment of the Pneuron solution has allowed ProSight staff to capitalise on the new distributed environment without intensive training. Based on product performance, the company has expanded the Pneuron implementation to include various internal analytics projects and plans to extend the solution to ProSight’s exclusive distributors and customers in the future.

“Pneuron’s unique approach to leveraging disparate data at the source allows ProSight to perform deep analysis within each vertical’s supporting systems while modeling the data across all product lines to generate strategic corporate reporting and holistic customer views,” said Elizabeth Elkins, Pneuron’s Chief Operating Officer. “The result is full capitalisation of all information assets.”
