Screendragon selects Internap

SaaS marketing company Screendragon is using Internap’s bare-metal servers and managed hosting services – backed by route-optimised Performance IP™ connectivity – to support the growth of clients’ multi-channel digital marketing campaigns. With its worldwide client base increasingly relying on a broader range of online communications strategies, including social media, Screendragon needed flexible, on-demand hosting services on a global scale to support the growing pressure on its SaaS platform.

Blue chip companies such as Kellogg’s, BP, and Kimberly Clark rely on Screendragon to help them deliver smarter communication strategies that add measurable value. Founded in 2001, the company provides a fully integrated SaaS solution that supports every step of the marketing program development process, from integrated marketing planning and campaign execution to new product development.

Demands on Screendragon’s SaaS platform have increased exponentially over the past few years. “We were seeking a hosting provider that could ensure the agility and resilience required to support today’s online and social marketing channels, where capacity needs can escalate quickly. Internap fit the bill perfectly as it was able to offer both on-demand bare-metal and customised managed hosting services to meet our requirements in strategic geographic regions,” said Jan Quant, managing director at Screendragon.

One of the main advantages of Screendragon’s platform is that it enables multi-functional client teams – often spread across geographic boundaries – to work in one place to plan, develop and bring campaigns to market. “Our business relies on granting clients 24x7, fast and reliable access to our SaaS offering – anytime, from anywhere in the world. Internap’s route-optimised IP connectivity with its 100% uptime SLA adds significant value to its enterprise hosting services, delivering the performance and low latency we need to ensure a positive experience for our international clients,” explained Quant.

Due to Screendragon’s rapidly growing client base and demands on its platform, Internap works in close partnership with the company on capacity planning for changes that may have an effect on the IT infrastructure, and to ensure the service is always up and available for Screendragon’s customers. Screendragon’s primary environment is hosted in Internap’s New York data centre, and it recently added a hosting footprint at Internap’s Singapore data centre. The additional capacity will serve Screendragon’s growing customer base in Asia and provide redundancy to the primary facility in New York.

“With the massive growth of new digital channels like social media, the marketing sector has changed beyond recognition in recent years. Screendragon was drawn to our flexible hosting solutions that could not only cater to its clients’ current needs for immediate access to real-time campaign and user data, but would also future-proof its SaaS offerings for years to come,” said Paul Vian, director of business development at Internap. “Our portfolio of high-performance hosting services provides a global platform for Screendragon and other digital marketing customers to focus efforts around their core business of providing clients with optimum services and marketing excellence.”
